News : Blood Duster release unplayable album

By on October 22, 2012

If you were excited about hearing the new Blood Duster album then… too bad. The appropriately titled KVLT album is not being released on CD or digitally. The only format that you can purchase it on is vinyl; unplayable vinyl that the band destroyed during mastering. Yep. Seriously. There’s video proof below.

And to top it off, they deleted the masters too, so there is zero chance of the original album ever leaking online. As mad as that all sounds, there is a reason behind it, which you can read about over on their website.

The… uhhh… “release”, will be available on November 1st, as well as a five-track digital EP titled SVCK.  And they’ll be playing new tracks live at their Bastardfest performances, which you can find more information about over at Bastardfest.com or in our gig guides.
