News : Whiplash Festival; the second lineup announcement

With the oncoming sale dates looming on us all our client, Whiplash Festival, had this following announcement to make earlier today :

“We’d like to welcome on to the touring roster for this year – melbourne based hardcore metal veterans, Scar the Surface, and Perth based instrumental/metal up ‘n comers, Prescient, to the Whiplash lineup. Both of these bands will join a plethora of Australian acts (whom we have hand picked) to appear on this year’s shows. Current bands on this years lineup including :

Mnemic (Denmark), Unearthly (Brazil), TBA (USA), Dawn Heist, Lynchmada, Devour the Martyr, Katabasis, Kunvuk, *Norse, *War Faction & *Our Last Enemy (*2 shows only).
In addition, you will find a host of support bands at the Sydney & Newcastle shows with the following we’d like to confirm as :

Sydney - Rise of Avernus, Deprivation, As Silence Breaks, Red Bee, Syko Sapian, Modern Murder + more TBA.
Newcastle – Requiem of the Damned, Drop Bear & Blackout to Oblivion.

Early bird tickets for every show including Melbourne, Brisbane & Canberra will be available as of the 24th of June and with General sales being made available to the general public as of 4th of July.”
