News : Judd Madden’s “Doomgroove” up for free download

By on March 14, 2012

If you don’t know Judd Madden, which is quite possible, he’s a one-man band from Ballarat, Victoria, who already has three monster albums under his belt (Drown, Float and Waterfall) which range from fairly crushing stoner-y doom through to gorgeous, minimalist post-rock. All three of those are available from his Bandcamp page for free download, but the exciting thing is that there is another album on the way.

Other than the fact he called it “bigger and better” in a recent interview, there isn’t much information about it, but the artwork and Doomgroove title are certainly a promising start.

UPDATE: So it seems that he really meant coming soon. The groovy, hour-long album is now up for free download over at his Bandcamp page along with the previous three.
