News : Wardaemonic lose two members

By on March 13, 2012

In some news that is bound to shock a few people, vocalist Old and guitarist Regnator have announced their departure from Perth band Wardaemonic, with their upcoming performance at the Devil’s Arcana Festival being their last together.

Here’s the official word from the band:

“So Old and myself will be leaving Wardaemonic after 6 years in the band. We saw this grow from the beginning and we are proud of what we achieved in this period but now our hearts and minds are somewhere else and will continue our musical journey someplace else.

Devil’s Arcana in Sydney at the end of the month will be our last show together. The remaining members of the band will carry on and will find suitable replacements shortly after.

It’s been an honour being part of this and it’s hard to make decisions like this but we know it’s for the best.

Blood & Hate!

Old / Regnator”

On a similar note, Drowning the Light have stated that the festival will certainly be one of their last local shows for a long time. Tickets are on sale via Seance Records.
