News : Inverloch (aka half of Disembowelment) post album trailer

By on February 9, 2012

For those of you who haven’t yet heard of Inverloch, here’s a quick history. Back in the early nineties there was a death/doom band called Disembowelment, who we’re sure you’ve heard of, who gained quite a legendary status in the funeral doom scene. They no longer exist, but in early 2010 d.USK formed, who were essentially a Disembowelment tribute band featuring half of the original lineup. They played a few shows but, since beginning to record a new yet-to-be-released EP, they decided to put d.USK to rest and start fresh, with new incarnation Inverloch.

Below is the newly posted sampler for their upcoming release, Dusk… Subside, due out in April through Relapse Records, and it’s sounding mighty tasty.

And if you want to catch Inverloch’s live debut then head to The Prague in Thornbury (VIC) this Saturday Feb 11th where they’ll be performing with support from Internal Harvest, Altars of Sin and Catacombs.
