News : Circles squeeze a few final shows into the year

By on December 1, 2011

Melbourne djenty rockers Circles have had a pretty big year, building quite a fanbase with the release of their The Compass EP back in May. And recently, they launched a single release for “Eye Embedded”, including a bunch of remixed and demos, as well as a video clip for the track. Now, to round of the year, the band have announced a short string of tour dates.

Circles drummer Dave Hunter commented:

“This year has been so fantastic for us, we’ve spent 2011 putting a lot of the groundwork in and now we can’t wait to be out on the road again. It’s so much fun to see those fresh faces in the front row singing their guts out and this time we’ve got some surprises up our sleeve with new tracks that we’ll be road testing exclusively to our Australian fans, so you don’t want to miss this. We also get to share the stage with our good friends Humality and The Schoenberg Automaton who both absolutely blow us away.”

Catch Circles on the following dates in 2012:

14 January – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
15 January – The National Hotel, Geelong
28 January – Venom Nightclub, Sydney
3rd February – The Hi-Fi Bar, Brisbane
4th February – Miami Shark Bar, Gold Coast
10th February – The Bended Elbow, Ballarat
