News : Aggressa’s 1998 EP “Nuclear Death” digitally reissued
Press release:
In the mid 80’s Craig Martin was gaining a reputation as well connected tape-trader in the Aussie metal scene. Before the internet, fans would swap audio tapes & video cassettes via the post. This was only way to get a glimpse of the thrash metal phenomenon that was emerging worldwide.
By 1987 the Sydney metal scene was yearning for some real thrash, not the same ol’ KISS style hard rock. Craig’s band Aggressa made an immediate impact, packing out the local venues and always creating complete mayhem. Perhaps not the tightest band ever assembled, but certainly the most decadent of their time.
8 tracks excavated from the golden era of thrash metal and re-mastered for digital download.
Available now for a bargain $7.00 through Quarterpipe Records.
Please note that the recording quality varies from track to track.
