News : ISAW release “The Indentity”

By on October 6, 2011

Adelaide’s ISAW have been a busy bunch over the last couple of years, making into the top-five artists for the metal/hardcore category at the MetalOz Awards, winning Triple J Unearthed in 2010, as well as opening the metal stage at the mighty Soundwave Festival. And after all of that, the band are now to set to release their debut album The Indentity.

Due out tomorrow (October 7th), the album was recorded at Deep Blue Studios in Adelaide, and mixed and mastered at Sing Sing South Studios in Melbourne by ARIA Award nominated producer Forrest Savell.

Drummer Kim Fiddaman had the following to say:

“It has really been a rollercoaster ride for the band since its inception in 2007. We have been doing the local rounds for the past few years and we have also had a line-up change….while this has all been challenging we are all in a really good headspace currently,” Fiddaman said.

“We are stoked with the new album and it was a real privilege to work with Forrester Savell as the producer. We loved the work he did with ‘Karnivool’ and ‘Dead Letter Circus’ and he really brought the sound of the band to life.”

For those that want to catch the band live, they’re having a launch show on November 11th at the Cavern Bar in Adelaide. In the meantime, you can hear the new single below, and download it from their website.
