By on September 1, 2011

On the back of their 2010 release Perpetual Motion Machine, Melbourne’s Synthetic Breed have announced a signing with digital label Rogue Records America. As well as handling their North American distribution, Rogue Records will be re-releasing the album, with their 2007 debut Catatonic, as a double album set. The double album will be officially released via iTunes on September 27th, including a booklet download and exclusive video.

The first single “Resilience” also appears on the Alternative Revolt Magazine Presents: The Autumn Collection Vol 1 compilation CD that the label released on August 28th.

“Synthetic Breed brings a fresh perspective on the Math / Industrial/ Djent Metal genres and we are proud to be working with such a professional and ambitious band.”  Dean Martinetti the labels owner had said.  “Synthetic Breed is one of those bands that’s a sleeping giant, and that giant is about to wake up and it’s going to be hungry”.

In the meantime, the band still have a few dates left on their Perpetual Motion Machine tour, including Brisbane’s Bastardfest. For details, head over to their official Facebook page.
