News : Metal Central: Crimsonfire and Divine Ascension

By on July 27, 2011

If your in the Richmond area in Melbourne this Friday make sure to come the Central Club and check out Screaming Symphony‘s monthly metal event, Metal Central.

This month Crimsonfire and Divine Ascension will play host to the event, along with resident DJ’s Gary Carson and Peter Fundies from Screaming Symphony spinning your favourite prog and power metal hits.

The event will also mark Crimsonfire’s new and very permanent drummer, Nuri Abdulioglu. This will be Nuri’s first gig, so make sure to come on down and show your support.

Press release:

Our “August” gig – held a few days early, but still 4 weeks after the “July” gig – will see the return of 2 of our Melodic/Progressive Metal favourites, Crimsonfire and Divine Ascension.

Kicking off the night, Divine Ascension’s moody, female-fronted Prog will no doubt impress those who have yet to see them (so get there early!).

Crimsonfire will then set the stage alight with their blistering Power Metal, progressive riffs, and soaring vocals. They will be unleashing tracks from their next album, with a special surprise planned to make this a night to remember.

Mark this special night in your calendar, tell all your friends, and see you down there!
