News : Psycroptic headlining a particularly superb show

By on February 7, 2011

While it’s utterly shattering that The Arthouse, one of Melbourne’s finest live venues, will be closing it’s doors for good on April 30th, the quality of the final couple of months of shows there almost makes it worth it. On April 16th, Australian tech-death leaders Psycroptic will be headlining a stellar lineup to what will no doubt be an absolutely packed venue. Also performing on the night are quirky deathgrinders A Million Dead Birds Laughing (a must-see live band), relatively new abstract death metallers Queensland band The Schoenberg Automaton (quite easily one of the best new Australian bands in recent times), and the debut live appearance from Cradle in the Crater.

While we here at Metal Obsession try not to be too biased in our news posts, this lineup is crotch-tinglingly good. Tickets are on sale for $15+bf from www.oztix.com.au, or at the door if there are any left.
