News : Vanishing Point seek new guitarist

By on January 23, 2011

Melbourne’s own VANISHING POINT are currently in the process of finding a new guitarist to complete their revised lineup. If you think you have what it takes you can contact guitarist, Chris Porcianko about the current deal on offer. Details of the job are found below.

VANISHING POINT are currently on the lookout for an additional guitar player to complete the line up, guitar players who like to play rhythm and lead will be looked upon favorably , we are not seeking a lead only player or rhythm only player.
Ability to rehearse weekly , have good gear , a good ear for music, excellent communication/ time management skills and most of all a ability to get along with other musicians is a necessary requirement.

We are not here to reinvent the wheel musically , we are happy with our sound , if you can see yourself playing the music we play or perhaps know someone, then please get in touch with us.
Guitarists from the ages of 20 to 40 are welcome to get in touch with us .
If you like any music from Classical to Prog/Melodic metal to death metal and everything in between we would like to hear from you.

A job is a must as is your own transport, we will be shortly having own rehearsal studio and we are getting ready to record.

Guitar players who are in other bands are welcome to apply as well , if you think you can juggle both then no problem.

Interested guitar players can either email Chris at chrisvp71@bigpond.com or contact him on 0412127680.

For the many unaware, Vanishing Point supported IRON MAIDEN on their 2008 Somewhere Back in Time Tour in Perth and Melbourne. They also supported power metal legends HELLOWEEN a few months later with the equally amazing Melbourne power metaller’s BLACK MAJESTY. The band have also toured extensively across Europe with SONATA ARCTICA and GAMMA RAY in previous years.
