News : The Schoenberg Automaton post new track, lose guitarist

By on August 8, 2010

In simultaneously awesome but shit news, Brisbane technical death metal band The Schoenberg Automaton have posted a new track online but announced they’ve lost a guitarist.

Good news first; the band have released a pre-production demo of the track “Pineapple Juice & The Tough Stuffed Olive” up for download, and it sounds monstrous. The track comes off the bands first demo, which they are working on at the moment, titled All Roads Lead To Rome. You can give it a listen at http://www.box.net/shared/qve2oypfeq

Now the not-so-good news; Empyrean drummer Tim Wedel, who joined the band as guitarist earlier in the year, has now left the band due to personal reasons. Those interested in the newly available position can contact the band via theschoenbergautomaton(at)live.com

Oh, and on a side note, how rad are their band shots!
