News : Astriaal "Anatomy of the Infinite" launch show

Quite easily one of the greatest black metal bands this country as ever produced, Brisbane’s Astriaal have announced the launch show for the follow up to 2003’s bloody awesome Renascent Misanthropy. The band will celebrate the launch of Anatomy of the Infinite alongside brutal death metal bands Disentomb and Defamer, as well as blackened thrashers Lustration.

Those who want the new album (which, let’s face it, should be everybody) will be able to purchase it, and entry to the show, for a bargain price of $20 at the door.

Seven long years since the unleashing of one of Australia’s landmark albums, the veil is lifted on the next installment of black/death mastery from ASTRIAAL. Recorded in Australia, but mixed at Møllway Lydstudio with Knut Magne Valle (Arcturus), “Anatomy of the Infinite” sounds strikingly different to Renascent with 8 epic tracks that weave hauntingly through black metal grandeur. Returning from a tour of NZ/Aus to launch their debut vinyl effort, DEFAMER are honing their own death metal attack to a razor edge.
