By on March 29, 2010

NSW-based progressive/power metal band Empires of Eden are coming closer to the release of their brand new album. “Reborn in Fire” is slated for a June release. While specific musicians and guests are yet to be announced, it apparently features “an all star cast of metals finest voices” with “enormous production backed by a 30 piece orchestral score”.

The band’s 2009 album “Songs of War and Vengeance” featured musicians such as Chris Porcianko (Vanishing Point), Yoshiyasu Maruyama (Argument Soul), Ben Thomas (Thundasteel), Lord Tim and Mark Furtner (Lord), and many others.

Also recently announced was the band’s signing to 7Hard Records who will be handling the US, UK and European.

From guitarist Stu Marshall: “It’s an understatement to say we are excited about the new signing and we have been looking for the right label to partner with. The word was out that 7Hard are one of the best emerging labels out there and Axel’s commitment to the bands is excellent. This new CD features some of metal’s most recognizable voices and in a unique twist, they have all composed their own lyrical and melodic concepts. ”

From 7Hard label manager Axel: ”We are very proud and happy to have Empires Of Eden with this monster power metal release at 7Hard. Mastermind Stu is one of the best guys in the biz and it’s a pleasure to work with him. Some of the biggest heavy metal superstars, great songs, with unique guitar work and powerful sound – a must have!”
