News : Nevetherym comes to an end

By on February 12, 2009

NSW band Nevetherym have decided to disband due to a series of unfortunate events. This is what the band had to say about it:

“After some hard thinking we have decided to disband. The journey Nevetherym has made has been an incredible one making great friends and playing with some amazing bands along the way. But the odds have been against us for a while with an ongoing stuggle to find a suitable bassist, Miriam soon moving overseas for study in mid 2009 and personal/musical conflict within the band.

We will all be carrying on our own musical adventures through other avenues that we hope you can enjoy. Rob will continue writing material that has been the basis of Nevetherym’s sound for the past four years to take form in a new, as untitled, project. Andrew is currently trying out for a number of bands and Miriam will be busy as always with her folk and classical career.

We just want to thank everyone who came to a show, played with us, bought merch, let us crash at their house, took photos or felt something in our music and told us how much it meant to you. We’ll never forget that.

If anyone wants to contact the band members do so through their personal MySpace/Facebook or email accounts as this account will not be checked as frequently.

Thanks for the good times and support,

NEVETHERYM.”
