News : Triple album launch in Melbourne – Feb 7th

Welkin Entertainment, supported by MetalObsession.net, have announced a massive triple album launch featuring Melbourne bands Eyefear and In Malice’s Wake, along with Adelaide’s Black Orchid, set to take place at The Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, Melbourne of February 7th.

Launching their latest album ‘The Unseen’, Melbourne’s own progressive/melodic metal titans, EYEFEAR, have once again raised the bar. A collection of fantastic, moving and powerful songs that showcase the ever impressive Danny Cecati on vocals and feature a great sense of melody, ‘The Unseen’ is a must have album for any fan of progressive, melodic and/or power metal. Always outstanding live, Eyefear will be headlining this huge event featuring 5 great bands, three of which are launching new releases!

Spanning years in the making, IN MALICE’S WAKE are launching their debut album, ‘Eternal Nightfall.’ Featuring ten tracks of relentless, destructive thrash, complete with a twin guitar attack, fearsome vocal work, memorable songwriting and an instantly recognisable sound.

Formed in early 2007 from the ashes of Adelaide gothic metal band Chalice, the members of BLACK ORCHID (SA) present their music to the world stage through the release of their debut recording ‘Inertia’. Incorporating the passion of Nightwish, the drama of Opeth and the atmospherics of Pink Floyd, Black Orchid’s ‘Inertia’ combines all the right elements for a band on the verge of great things.

Joining the three CD launch bands on the night will be Eye of the Enemy (opening the evening) and Nothing (playing the late show).
