News : Soundwave finally announce Sydney venue

After a long delay, the venue for Soundwave 2009 in Sydney has finally been announced. It will be held at Eastern Creek Raceway. The Press release states the following:

“The venue provides an ideal space for a multi-stage event and comes unburdened with noise restrictions and curfews, meaning for the first time in a long time, Sydney’s festival goers will be able to hear the bands beyond the 30 metre mark!

We will also be celebrating the extension in operating time to add a couple of surprise acts, exclusive to Sydney Soundwave.

Last but not least, there will be continuous free bus services from the nearest train station to the even throughout the day”

21st Feb @ RNA Showgrounds,Brisbane

22nd Feb @ Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney

27th Feb @ Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne

28th Feb @ Bonython Park, Adelaide

2nd March @ Blue Steel Oval, Perth
