News : Queensland's 'Set It Off Festival' cancelled

By on December 12, 2008

Promoter Arthur Terrace has released the following press statement concerning this weekend’s Set It Off Festival in Toowoomba, which was set to feature bands such as The Red Shore, For The Fallen Dreams (USA), Phlanx, Empyrean, In Trenches, As Silence Breaks and more.

The event on Sunday 14th of December has been cancelled due to difficulties with the venue.

Yesterday the venue sent us a message canceling the event from their diary, and we tried all day to resolve the issue, but we didn’t have any luck. I have organised shows for years, and I have never had to cancel an event before, so it’s not easy to bring this bad news to the artists or people who have already purchased tickets.

I believed this line up was excellent and I really hope to see most of those bands play in Toowoomba again. in the future.

All tickets will be refunded with face value, or can be used at the Brisbane show tonight which features The Red Shore, For The Fallen Dreams, In Trenches, As Silence Breaks, Among The Vanished & Turns To Ashes.
