News : Vahrzaw to hit the studio

By on December 2, 2008

Victorian metal band Vahrzaw will hit the studio to record their new album “just after the date that boring morons celebrate the birth of the woofter jesus on a date they stole from pagans”, according to the band. Press releases don’t get much more metal than that.

You can read our review of the bands last release, the Acquiesce EP, here.

Also recently announced is that the band will be rereleasing their 1996 demo, “Black Resplendant Waters” on casette, limited to 200 copies. According to the bands Myspace, the demo will be released in a clear DVD sized case with a booklet containing, for the first time, the lyrics to the demo as well as linear notes explaning the origin of every track. Also included will be a remastered version of the demo on CD, and each copy will be hand numbered.
