News : Psycroptic Aus/NZ tour to kick off this weekend

With the much anticipated release of the bands fourth studio album ‘(Ob)Servant’ now complete, Tasmania’s Psycroptic will embark on an expansive headlining tour of Australia and New Zealand, kicking off with 3 dates in Queensland this weekend. The tour will also feature a DVD filming at the December 20 show in Melbourne. A Darwin date is also set to be rescheduled.

When we recently spoke to Dave Haley, drummer for the band, about touring far and beyond the main big cities, he commented:

“We like touring, and we want to expend our fan base a bit, so why not? Just because people don’t live in a major city doesn’t mean they don’t like extreme music. We have done extensive touring in Europe and the US so we might as well explore our own country! We looking forward to seeing how it all goes, especially in some of the regional areas.” (Click here to read the full interview!)
