News : Paroxysm parts way with guitarist

Melbourne’s Paroxysm has parted way with guitarist Russ – the decision made in order to for Russ to pursue another musical project. The band’s search for a new guitarist has now begun. Interested applicants can contact the band through their MySpace – www.myspace.com/paroxysmmetal.

Commenting on the split, Russ said: “Thanks to everyone that has given me support during my time in Paroxysm. I’ve met a lot of great people during my time in the band and your support will not be forgotten. It was a hard decision, but due to other commitments and my new band, i will no longer have enough time to dedicate to the band. Thanks to the guys in Paroxysm for the good times, the good tunes and on being great friends to me over the last 4 years. I wish them luck with the recording of their new album and there are no hard feelings towards any of the members in the band.”
