News : The Eternal album update

By on May 22, 2008

The Eternal have posted the following update about their up and coming album “Kartika”

Well it was a long few weeks & alot of traveling between Estonia & Finland, but most of the mixing of the new album ‘Kartika’ is done (I will be getting the last few mixes from Endel this week). Its quite different than our previous albums, it has a very natural sound and id say its very much leaning to progressive rock, anyone expecting polished goth rock may be disappointed but I feel we have captured a very band ‘feel’ and the drums give me that john bonham feeling, so that cant be a bad thing:) The next step is to plan the mastering & hopefully share some songs with those of you who cares to hear them:)

The rest of the trip was also great, I managed to get up and sing ‘In Solitude’ with To/Die/For at a few shows in Finland, this of course included alot of beer as one may expect, also spent a lovely night at a cabin doing the usual finnish things, sauna, beer etc.. so thanks to antza, jape and the boys for a lovely time.

Also a big thankyou goes to endel rivers for the endless ours of mixing and helping me get my multitrack disorder under control:)

More news as it comes

Cheers
