Australian rock ‘n’ roll legends ROSE TATTOO have scheduled a party to celebrate the release of the last recording by the group’s late guitarist Pete Wells. The event will take place on Thursday, April 24 at The Bridge Hotel in Sydney. Confirmed performers include ANGRY ANDERSON & FRIENDS, MICK COCKS, PAUL DEMARCO, MARK EVANS, DAVE TICE, LUCY DESOTO, TIM GAZE, ROB GROSSER, CHRIS TURNER & THE CAVEMEN. Proceeds will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Pete Wells passed away in Sydney, Australia in March 2006 after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Entitled “Bodgie Dada”, Pete Wells‘ final CD was recorded in December 2005 and features Pete at his best, playing slide, bass, harmonica, vocals and saxes. The album also features his usual cohorts — Lucy Desoto (keyboards, backing vocals) as well as Rob Grosser (drums, percussion). Dave Tice is featured on the track “Brothers In Arms”.
