News : Silvio Massaro to guest on new Divine Ascension album

By on October 3, 2010

In a long awaited album update from Melbourne progressive metallers Divine Ascension, they band have revealed that Vanishing Point frontman Silvio Massaro will be making a guest vocal appearance on a number of tracks. The album, which goes in for mixing in the coming weeks is due out in early 2011.

With virtually a year passing between album updates there is a lot of news to share!

Firstly, the album is completely tracked and booked in for mixing in a few weeks with Melbourne’s own Ermin Hamidovic of Systematic Productions. Ermin has been on board the album throughout the entire process as we have immense faith in him bringing our music and themes to life. We are very excited about this partnership – things are sounding awesome already – and we are looking forward to sharing the results with you all.

Silvio Massaro of Vanishing Point will be appearing on the album belting out some guest vocals on a track or two. Working with Silvio was a great pleasure and I’m sure you’ll enjoy his lead vocal exchange with Jen on the track ‘Answers’. Our artwork for the album is well underway and looking very cool indeed. I hope to be uploading some images in the coming weeks. We will have many more, and frequent, updates in the weeks to come regarding all things debut album, more shows, etc.

Stay tuned and thanks for your ongoing support.
